Biography: Zhao Haiquan, PhD in Engineering, Professor, Senior Member of IEEE and the Chinese Institute of Electronics, Elsevier Highly Cited Scholar, Global Top 0.05% Scholar (ScholarGPS), Global Top 2% Scientist (Stanford), Academic and Technical Leader of Sichuan Province, Outstanding Expert with Outstanding Contributions in Sichuan Province, Winner of the Sichuan Province Outstanding Youth Fund, Distinguished Expert of the Haizhi Program of the Sichuan Association for Science and Technology, has published 280 SCI papers, received the First Prize of Natural Science from the Chinese Society of Automation, and six provincial and ministerial awards including the Second Prize for Science and Technology Progress from the Ministry of Education, the China Railway Science and Technology Progress Award, and the Tang Lixin Outstanding Scholar Award. He serves on the editorial boards of several international SCI journals including IEEE TASLP, IEEE TSMCA, IEEE SPL, and Signal Processing, among others. His main research areas are signal processing, pattern recognition, and artificial intelligence.

Assoc. Prof. Xin Lu

Biography: Xin Lu (Senior Member, IEEE) received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees from Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT), Harbin, China, in 2008 and 2010, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in computer science from the University of Warwick, Coventry, U.K., in 2013. He is currently an Associate Professor with the School of Computer Science and Informatics, De Montfort University (DMU), Leicester, U.K. Before joining DMU, he was a Lecturer (Assistant Professor) with the School of Electronics and Information Engineering, HIT. His current research interests include video coding standards, data compression, deep learning, convolutional neural network, multimedia coding and transmission, pattern recognition, and multimodal signal processing. He has served on the editorial boards of a few journals, including as an Associate Editor for IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems for Video Technology, IEEE Transactions on Broadcasting, and IET Image Processing. He serves as a member of the IST/37 committee on “Coding of picture, audio, multimedia and hypermedia information” of the British Standard Institute (BSI), and is acting as UK Delegate for ISO/IEC JTC1/SC29 (a.k.a MPEG & JPEG).

Biography:
Zhangzhi Zhao, Deputy Director of the Department of Physical Education at the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, member of the expert group of the National Institute of Science and Technology Sports at the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, Director of the Special Committee of the Joint Laboratory for Integrated Microsystems of Intelligent Perception Fusion and Secure Mobile Payment, Deputy Director of the Sichuan Provincial Key Laboratory of Sports Medicine, and expert reviewer for national-level research projects. He has long been engaged in interdisciplinary research in the fields of human-machine intelligence and health engineering, human performance enhancement technologies, and the integration of sports, medicine, and engineering.
